TWO DAY NATIONAL SEMINAR ON ‘MEDIA IN CONTEMPORARY WORLD’

Mangalore University, Mass Communication and journalism department offer a platform to Teachers, research scholars and students to explore their thoughts and findings concerning the contemporary media through a national seminar and media festival. The Seminar will throw light on various aspects of communication ranging from radio, television, cinema, new media, public relations to changing trends and contemporary issues. The seminar will be an opportunity in engaging and understanding the media of the contemporary world. 

Abstract Submission:
Abstract should include the title of the paper, a small biographical note of the author, significance of the study&  methodology. It should be neatly typed on MS Office Word in Times New Roman 12pt. Soft copy of the abstract not exceeding 400 words should be forwarded to the email:mumcj.nationalseminar@gmail.com .
Paper Submission:
Research Papers not exceeding 5000 words that is neatly typed on MS Office Word in Times New Roman 12pt should be forwarded to the email:mumcj.nationalseminar@gmail.com. The citation should be in APA style. 
Important dates to remember:
Last date for the submission of the abstract 27th November , 2014
Acceptance notification of short listed abstract 30th November, 2014
Last date for the submission of the full paper 20th December, 2014
Date of Seminar 22-23 January, 2015


Registration:
Registration for the seminar can be done through online by logging into the blog: http://mcjseminar.blogspot.in/. All the co- authors should register for the seminar separately.
Registration Fees:
Faculties 1200/-
Research Scholars  750/-
Students  300/-

Publication of the papers:
Selected papers will be published as a book with ISBN number.
